Steve Buscemi Fends Off Character Actors in ‘SNL’ Monologue [VIDEO]
Although Steve Buscemi left his "creepy bellhop" and "creepy homeless man" roles behind him for the lead in 'Boardwalk Empire,' he was reminded of his character-acting past during the opening monologue for 'SNL' this weekend.
All the cliched, stock characters were on hand, including the clumsy best friend, the magical African-American character, and the guy from war movies you know is going to die. Not to mention Kristin Wiig, who played the one character we see in every slasher flick: the scared, knife-flailing woman who can never seem to find her friends.
