Senior Citizens In Trouble For Terrorizing Neighbors With the Power of Iron Maiden
Since the members of Iron Maiden are all well into their 50s it shouldn't be a big surprise that some fans of the seminal heavy metal band are now old enough to collect retirement benefits.
Instead it's what a 71-year-old woman from Stockholm, Sweden and her 81-year-old husband did with their Iron Maiden record collection that's noteworthy.
According to the couple, there was a "whistling" sound emanating from their neighbor house that kept them up at night. So they decided turnabout was fair play and began blasting Iron Maiden back at their neighbors at all hours of the night and morning.
Apparently this went on for months until finally Bruce Dickson's wail became too much and the neighbors called the police.
When the cops arrived 'Afraid to Shoot Strangers' was playing at "top volume" and the heavy metal loving couple was charged with harassment.
"The harassment has just carried on, I am completely broken down. How can I keep living here?," the neighbor said in a police interview.
Iron Maiden is set to tour Sweden in July, and we think we know at least on person who will not be attending the concert.
