Sofia Vergara Nails Fran Drescher’s Laugh In ‘Quirky’ ‘Saturday Night Live’ Sketch
It looks like 'Saturday Night Live' has a new hit reccurring sketch. For the second time this year, 'SNL' spoofed everybody's favorite adorkable actress and singer Zooey Deschanel with the parody 'Bein' Quirky with Zooey Deschanel.'
Abby Elliott reprised her role as the twee queen, with Taran Killam as her loyal sidekick and "sister" Michael Cera. Check out the hilarity below.
Elliot seems to have Deschanel's "quirkiness" down and Kristen Wiig is strong as usual as fellow quirkster Drew Barrymore. But the revelation here is host Sofia Vergara's Fran Drescher impersonation. She doesn't have 'The Nanny's' unique accent down perfectly, but it still pretty good. If anyone thought Vergara didn't have the range to host 'SNL,' this skit pretty much answered those critics.
So what do you think of 'Bein Quirky with Zooey Deschanel?' Should they bring it back for a third time?
