George Takei Set to Guest Star in Archie Comics’ ‘Kevin Keller’ Series

The fictional town of Riverdale has seen many real-life famous celebrities give the place a visit. Coming this November with the release of 'Kevin Keller' #6 is the man Hikaru Sulu himself -- George Takei! For those who haven't read Archie Comics in a while, Kevin Keller is the first openly gay character. Conveniently enough, Takei is openly gay too.

The decades-old Archie Comics have been trying to keep up with trends, and Kevin Keller even married his African-American partner in an issue earlier this year. But what a way to appease multiple fan bases -- Takei is still one of the most popular 'Star Trek' actors and a pop-culture icon.
