Archie Comics to Feature a Gay Wedding in Riverside

Archie Comics has announced that there will be a same-sex wedding featured in Life With Archie #16, which hits stores in January 2012.

And, no, this isn't a case of Archie switching over to the other side because his recent marriage to Veronica is falling apart. (Although the demise of their relationship will also be explored in #16.) Instead, the marriage will be between Kevin Keller, a gay character that Archie Comics introduced last year, and Kevin's boyfriend.

Earlier this year, Archie Comics announced that Keller would be getting his own series in the future.
