Aliens Learn How the Chevy Volt Works in Super Bowl 2012 Commercial [VIDEO]
The inability of people to grasp the Chevy Volt's hybrid system, which uses electricity on short drives and gas on long ones, has been a theme in most of the car's ads over the past year. For the Volt's Super Bowl 2012 commercial, confusion about how it works takes an intergalatic twist.
In the spot, a man in his bathrobe goes out to his garage and finds a bunch of aliens poking around his Volt. "Guys," he says, with an exasperated look on his face. "This is the third time this week."
It's unclear if the extraterrestrials do comprehend, but when the man's wife comes outside to get him to come back to bed, this seems to excite the aliens, so if they are anything like smitten humans they'll find a reason to come back.
