At 24.7 inches, Jyoti Amge of India is that shortest woman in the world. But she's not the world's shortest adult. That distinction would belong to Chandra Bahadur Dang of Nepal, who stands 21.5 inches. The record keepers at Guinness decided to get the two record holders together, and from the sounds of it everybody had big fun.

"The atmosphere was magic," Marco Frigatti, an adjudicator for Guinness World Records, said of the meeting of the world's shortest woman and world's shortest man. "You could see everyone was smiling. It was something special in the air."

Since neither Dang or Amge commented on the meet-up we're not sure how they felt about each other. But for those of you hoping the two of them get together and make tiny little babies, that's probably not going to happen. Dang is 72, making the likelihood of a love connection with the teenaged Amge "small."
