Just as the Puppy Bowl sits as the heavily popular (or pupular) alternative to America's favorite Sunday night time-waster the Super Bowl,  Conan O'Brien once again introduced his own alternative to watching his own show.

In case you forgot, a little something called the Super Bowl went down yesterday. Alicia Keys rocked the National Anthem, Beyonce was as fierce as they come and the commercials were awesome. There's also one very underrated part of Super Bowl Sunday that often goes unnoticed-- the Puppy Bowl!

The Animal Planet's 'Puppy Bowl' has announced their lineup for 2013. This hit Superbowl spoof features adorable puppies that hail from rescue organizations both in the US and Puerto Rico and will air on February 3rd at 3PM. The show will also feature the fan favorite Kitty Halftime Show to satisfy the cat lovers who just adore watching cuddly kittens play and the fuzzy baby chicken cheerleaders t

It was a big day for pooches, pups and pigs yesterday as the young canines competed in Animal Planet’s 8th annual Puppy Bowl. The fluffy, floppy frolickers did not disappoint.

The monarchs of cute over at Animal Planet started something genius a few years ago, and this year, they will continue their adorable tradition by bringing us Puppy Bowl VIII on February 5th. There’s another big game that day, but the true battle for the title of champ will be fought by man’s best friend. And probably more than one player named Champ.

Now that we know it's going to be the New England Patriots vs. the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, the next logial question is, "who's going to be playing in the Puppy Bowl?"
