During the first day of Hollywood Week on 'American Idol,' contestant Symone Black passed out and took a terrible fall off the stage. But after a quick trip to the hospital, the plucky 16-year-old was back in time to participate in the group round.

Black has just finished a stellar rendition of Otis Redding's '(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay' on Wednesday night's episode when her knees suddenly buckled and she fell head first off the stage. Medics provided immediate assistance and revived her with a can of soda. (See the fall below.)

On last night's episode, Black was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a case of dehydration. After being given a clean bill of health, she rushed back to the competition and wasted no time finding a group to sing with.

But, unfortunately, that's all we saw of this round. Viewers will need to tune in next week to see how Black and the other 'Idol' contestants fared during the pressure-filled group competition.
