Super Bowl fans were treated to a new peek at J.J. Abrams' new 'Star Trek' film, 'Star Trek Into Darkness,' during the commercial breaks tonight.

The drama runs high in this new promo, which shows the Starship Enterprise tumbling out of the sky, and a series of major explosions that seem to hint that the crash zone could be on Earth. What is the fate of its crew? Way to leave us hanging in suspense, J.J.! We will probably go see this at the theater and then be really disappointed by the ending but pretend that we weren't in order to seem cool.
