Seth MacFarlane was ambushed by a number of his 'Family Guy' voices on his SNL debut.

In his opening monologue, MacFarlane seemed surprised when a few characters from his animated show popped up in cameo. In a case like his, voices running through one's head are not a psychological problem: they're an excuse for a song. We'd have imagined that since his career is entirely based on voicing cartoon characters, hosting America's premiere live sketch show would be a tough gig for MacFarlane. Who knew that he could actually sing? Having seen this, we now need way more musical numbers on 'Family Guy' -- including some with Seth guest-starring as himself.
