Watch the Wicked New ‘Oz, the Great and Powerful’ Commercial from the 2013 Super Bowl

Amidst the sturm und drang of the Super Bowl, viewers were suddenly transported to yet another ferocious battle: the one between James Franco and the Wicked Witch in 'Oz the Great and Powerful.'

They sure know their audience -- this particular promo plays up the more sinister and adventurous elements of the new film, which opens on March 8th and functions as a sort of prequel to the legendary 1939 Judy Garland musical.

We just know that while a lot of the tough guys watching from home might publicly declare the fantastical Emerald City to be a total girlzone, deep down they have to admit they're suddenly curious.
