Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ Goes Metal

After more covers, tributes, spoofs and tongue-in-cheek parodies than we could possibly count, Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used to Know' gets a much-needed shot of testosterone in a rollicking heavy metal version. Finally!

This awesome cover is courtesy of Eric Calderone, who's graced us with heavy metal versions of 'Call Me Maybe,' 'I Will Always Love You,' the 'Game of Thrones' theme and many more in the past.

As always, Calderone shreds his way through the song like nobody's business with killer harmonized riffs. And check out the awesome double bass drum that thuds away throughout the entire song. Call us metalheads, but, as far we're concerned, this is just what Gotye's song needed.
