With all of the interpretations of the massive Gotye hit 'Somebody That I Used To Know' floating around, it was only a matter of time before the man himself -- Wally De Backer -- started to discover them. If there was ever any doubt as to whether or not the frontman and band appreciated the swarms of covers, this video should answer that.

In fact, as an attempt to show his gratitude, Gotye strung together a clever mix -- both musically and visually -- of various covers of the tune via YouTube.

From acoustic players to orchestral hymns to a rare metal version, the video -- aptly titled 'Somebodies' -- is uniquely mixed to display a version of the song that will easily be stuck in your head for days.

In the text below the video, De Backer writes a thank you note to the fans and explains his process in cutting and mixing the video.

As grateful as he is, it's obvious that the fans equal that appreciation. Thanks a bunch, Wally!
