Six Guys on a Ukelele Play ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’

The Waffle Stompers are a band with a sense of humor about themselves. Gotye is a band that has a very serious song. The two mix surprisingly well, even though these six guys have only a ukelele and their voices.

This stemmed from a performance aired on Ellen of an a cappela group where Ellen issued a challenge for other versions. The Waffle Stompers, needless to say, took up the charge.

We have to admit we're impressed. If for no other reason than we're sick of the song and yet we watched this whole thing. But they also captured the song's tenor and melancholy despite playing a ridiculous instrument.
