In an interview with Meredith Vieira on 'Today,' chimp attack victim Charla Nash showed off the new face she received after a groundbreaking 20-hour transplant operation six months ago.

Nash was savagely mauled by a chimpanzee three years ago in an attack that made headlines around the world. The enraged animal tore off her nose, mouth and hands and left her permanently blind.

And yet despite Nash's horrific injuries, she showed a remarkable amount of courage and determination during the interview, claiming that people say her new face is "beautiful."
