This guy loves Batman... like a lot. Perhaps too much. We're not certain just how long he spent on this but we probably would have given up after the first 10 minutes. Recently posted on Reddit is a table that chronicles not only Batman himself but also the various notable characters and events throughout the span of The Dark Knight's history, tracing way back from the early DC Comics era and moving forth to the Christopher Nolan movie days.

Totaling a surprising 70 years, the table charts the various rebirths of the Caped Crusader, the Joker, Two Face, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Commissioner Gordon, Bane and Ra's Al Ghul with some added events to make it shine.

It's hard to believe that the legacy of Batman has been around since 1939. And counting out the fantastically well-thought out casting of George Clooney as Batman in 'Batman and Robin' (not to mention "Ah-nuld" as Mr. Freeze) and Halle Berry as Catwoman in the film of the same title (note the heavy use of sarcasm), The Dark Knight has remained a pretty cool hero.

And with the release of 'The Dark Knight Rises' coming soon, we'll bet that whoever made this chart is as excited as ever. Maybe he bought a couple of tickets for him and his girlfriend. Hmm... or mother? (You can see a bigger version of the infographic here.)
