‘Batman’ and ‘Captain America’ Rescue Cat from Burning House
A man dressed as Batman and another dressed as Captain America saved a cat trapped in a burning house in Milton, West Virginia on Saturday. Finally, proof that superheroes are real.
It seems the men, Jeff Buckland (playing Captain America) and Troy Marcum (Batman), were in costume as part of a job they have getting dolled up as superheroes to motivate others. They were giving a talk to some kids when they noticed a fire in the nearby house and jumped into action quicker than you can say, "Ben Affleck won’t make a good Batman."
Marcum busted a window and Buckland, a former firefighter, retrieved a cat inside the residence and then revived it. No one else was home at the time of the blaze.
We say these are the best homemade superheroes since Damon Wayans gave us ‘Blankman.’
