We loved it when Bo, the Obama family's dog, disrupted an Argentinian newscast last month. But this clip of a dog interrupting a newscast on Global News in Toronto may be the greatest example of a canine video bomb yet.

While Leslie Roberts reads a story, a dog, whose name is Storm, pops up from beneath the anchor's desk, looks around for a few seconds, then disappears. Undaunted, Roberts continues reading as if nothing has happened.

Later, Roberts asks meteorologist Anthony Farnell to explain the doggy intrusion. The Golden Retriever/Poodle mix, it seems, is a mascot of sorts for the program and is known as "The Weather Dog" around the studio.

"He was supposed to actually stay underneath the desk, but he did pop up out of the blue," explained Farnell. "You are not seeing things. You are not hallucinating at home." Whew! That's a relief.
