Reenact the Royal Wedding With William and Kate Barbie Dolls
It's been almost a year since Kate Middleton and Prince William tied the knot in a ceremony watched by some 40 million people worldwide. And if you didn't get your fill of Royal Wedding mania, how about celebrating their first anniversary with your very own set of dolls created in the famous couple's likeness?
Mattel, the company that brought you the female self-esteem-crushing phenomenon known as Barbie, is releasing the Royal Wedding William and Catherine Doll Set. And for just $100, you can order yours now and act out your own creepy royal wedding.
Both dolls are outfitted in their Royal Wedding regalia, with Catherine's dress described as "an elegant, yet chic, gown inspired by the original." She also comes with her "wedding bouquet, silvery tiara, earrings and engagement ring."
William's suit is "the brilliant scarlet uniform of the Colonel of the Irish Guards, proudly decorated with royal blue sash, metallic cummerbund with bow trimmed in golden fringe, golden buttons and medallions."
Just think: if you buy the set, you can reenact the whole ridiculous spectacle of their union on April 29th without running yourself ragged looking for the appropriate stand-ins! Thanks, Mattel!
