We have to give this move a round of a-paws.

Scottish brewery BrewDog has unveiled a brand new policy called "puppy parental leave," in which employees get a paid week off after getting a dog. The offer is being extended to every employee on the other side of the pond, as well as ones in its new factory opening in Ohio.

"It's not easy trying to juggle work and settle a new dog into your life, and many members of our crew have four-legged friends at home," said company co-founder James Watt. "We wanted to take the stress out of the situation and let our teams take the time they need to welcome their new puppy or dog into their family."

As you may imagine, BrewDog, which claims a pooch also co-founded the company, is very friendly to all the Fidos of the world and even lets employees bring their four-legged friends to work.

BrewDog is also pretty progressive for more traditional family additions, saying it has "enhanced paternity and maternity pay."

"We always want to raise the bar when it comes to offering our staff the best possible benefits," Watt said. "We care about two things above all else. People and beer. We also just really like dogs."
