It's that time of year again for brides to walk down the aisle, and soon-to-be brides to stay at home watching 'Bride Wars' and hoping their dresses look half as good as Anne Hathaway's or Kate Hudson's. Oh wait, they can be.

If you're starting to plan your wedding and hoping to recreate the same magical moments from your favorite movies, why not start with the dress. There are a bunch of movie wedding dresses available for purchase at retailers and online. We're talking about designs from major motion pictures that could grace your own wedding if you want them to.

Check out some of those dresses that women can actually buy below, and some they could've bought if other brides hadn't beaten them to it.

Kate Hudson's 'Bride Wars' Wedding Dress

Designer: Vera Wang
Price: $6,000

While 'Bride Wars' wasn't the most profound movie of all time, it certainly had some of the best fashion moments. We're talking, of course, about Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway's wedding dresses. Both were absolutely stunning, but the Vera Wang creation worn by the 'Almost Famous' star blew us -- the soon-to-be brides watching at home -- away. The designer sold this same dress in select Vera Wang bridal boutiques and customers pounced to get their piece. Sadly, though, this particular design is sold out, but we've seen some of the gals who snatched it up selling them on sites like eBay... and for a lot less.

Sarah Jessica Parker's 'Sex and the City: The Movie' Wedding Dress

Designer: Vivienne Westwood
Price: $9,875

After Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera and too many other fabulous designers, it was a creation by Vivienne Westwood that became the main event for Carrie Bradshaw's wedding in the 'Sex and the City' movie. Soon-to-be brides from all over the world saw this magical wedding moment happen onscreen (the dress, not Mr. Big leaving her at the alter) and they all wanted to recreate that moment for themselves. In fact, a knee-length recreation of this wedding dress offered on Net-A-Porter.com sold out in mere hours. So, sorry brides, we should have said you could have actually bought it.

Kristen Stewart's 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' Wedding Dress

Designer: Alfred Angelo
Price: $799

The 'Twilight' franchise has one of the most dedicated (and obsessive) fan base that looks to snatch up as much Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart-related merchandise they can. So when designer Alfred Angelo decided to create a replica of Bella Swan's wedding dress from 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1,' they all wanted their hands on it -- even if that meant lying about being engaged. That's right, scores of women flocked to retailers and created imaginary fiances so that they could just get close to the dress.

Sasha Barrese's 'Hangover' Wedding Dress

Designer: Amsale
Price: $3,750

'The Hangover' by no means depicts a bride's ideal image of how a wedding should go, but one thing that can is the wedding dress worn by Sasha Barrese's character. Just like with 'Bride Wars,' the movie's design team decided to feature a designer's work rather than creating one specifically for the screen. This time they turned to bridal brand Amsale and plucked this number from its Fall 2008 collection. So far it looks like this movie wedding dress is nowhere to be found, even on used dress sites like Pre-Owned Wedding Dresses.

Rashida Jones' 'I Love You, Man' Wedding Dress

Brand: J.Crew
Price: $350

Rashida Jones looked absolutely stunning when she made her stroll down the aisle in the movie 'I Love You, Man.' And it turns out that if she were to have worn the same dress in real life, it wouldn't have cost her that much. J.Crew lent their Rebecca Dress for this on-screen moment. Rachel McAdams' character in 'The Time Traveler's Wife' went through a bit of a rough patch when her husband spontaneously, and involuntarily time traveled over and over again. But when it came to her wedding dress, she got it all. This simply but elegant design is known as Lea-Ann Belter's Cecilia dress from the Niagra Collection and is a silk organza ball gown with an organza sash. It comes in both white and off white, and, guess what? It is available! Contact Lean-Ann Belter Bridal for more information.
