McKayla Maroney Tweets Her Own ‘Not Impressed’ Face

Think you've seen all of the 'McKayla Maroney is Not Impressed" meme? Well now the gymnast herself is getting in on the game.

Just days after winning the silver medal in the women's vault final, 16-year-old gymnast McKayla Maroney has become an Internet sensation. Not because of her performance -- which was great too -- but more so because of the pout donned when she actually got the medal.

From that began the explosion of memes all over the Web, beginning with the 'McKayla Is Not Impressed' Tumblr, which features the gymnast's surly expression in outside-of-the-Olympics-situations.

As the Olympics wound down, McKayla showed her own sense of humor and decided to post a photo of herself along with fellow gymnasts Aly Raisman and Kyla Ross on Instagram after discovering their pool was closed. Of course, the photo came with the hashtag "notimpressed."

While getting second place might have been a disappointment at first, our guess is the recognition she's receiving might just be worth it.
