‘Avengers’ Fans Assemble in Funny Farmer’s Insurance Commercial

'The Avengers' doesn't hit the big screen until May 4th. But the Marvel superheroes have already invaded our TVs, and not just in trailers for the much-anticipated movie.

Farmer's Insurance is the second company -- following Target --to feature Captain America, Hulk and the rest in a commercial. However, while Target's "Little Avengers" were a force to be reckoned with, Farmer's Insurance's motley crew of costumed agents are, well, you'll see.

Yup, those "superheroes" could barely S.H.I.E.L.D themselves from their own shadows. But we can't blame them for being on edge. The actor who plays Professor Nathaniel Burke in the Farmer's spots is J.K. Simmons, who you might recognize as cranky J. Jonah Jameson from the 'Spider-Man' movies. At any second he could chomp down on a cigar and bark an order in their general direction.
