The power of animals shows the power of organ donations in a new and incredibly moving ad.

The spot, which is for an Argentine liver transplant foundation, focuses on a dog so devoted to its owner that it follows him and remains outside the hospital when the man has a medical emergency.

Eventually, a woman emerges in a wheelchair – strongly suggesting the man had donated a body part to save her life. The dog and the woman are immediately drawn to each other as the camera fades, suggesting the pooch has a new master and the woman has a new companion.

It’s simple and elegant and, yes, weep-worthy, for sure.
