It started about a month ago when members of the Harvard baseball team lip-dubbed Carly Rae Jepsen's pop hit 'Call Me Maybe' while riding on their team bus. The video, which also includes synchronized dance moves, currently has over 11 million views on YouTube and its success has spawned numerous other 'Call Me Maybe' cover videos.

In fact, over the weekend, Donald Trump became the biggest non-musical celebrity to mouth the song in a video for his Miss USA contest.

However that distinction only lasted about a day. Because, below, we have a clip of President Barack Obama, the most powerful man in the world, belting out the lyrics to the catchy tune.

OK, there may have been some selective editing in that clip. But, nonetheless, that's the Commander-in-Chief, singing away. In fact, the YouTuber responsible for the video, BarackDubs, is also the genius behind previous videos of Barack "singing" 'Sexy and I Know It' by LMFAO and Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way.'

We think that once a president participates in a meme that officially means it has run its course. So time to move on to another song, lip-dubbers. We wouldn't mind seeing the Barack Obama version auto-tuned, though.
