Everything was going well for burglar Cristian Villarreal-Castillo. He had just snatched a cache of small electronics from cars in a Hillsboro, OR neighborhood and then he really hit the jackpot when he was able to enter into a home through an unlocked back door.

All the 20-year old had to do is not fall asleep and he would've made off with quite the haul. Unfortunately for Villarreal-Castillo, he fell asleep.

The home's owners had heard the ruckus downstairs and called the police. When cops arrived at 5:00 AM Friday morning, Villerreal-Castillo was snoozing on the kitchen floor.

The evidence of his earlier robberies was right there in his pockets. The first floor of the home was also ransacked, suggesting he had worn himself out looking for more valuables.

He is now charged with burglary, attempted theft, trespassing and criminal mischief. Something tells us he won't be one to suffer a lot of sleepless nights in prison.
