World’s Greatest Jumping Dog Performs Amazing Vintage Stunt

Long before Air Bud's time, there was Mickey the German Shepard, who was declared the world's greatest jumping dog in 1930 after easily bounding over gate at 9' 6'' tall.

The athletic pooch does cheat a little by getting a boost off his trainer's back on the way up. But still, check out the spikes at the top of the gate that would have impaled Mickey if he came up short in his attempt. Now that's something you wouldn't see if this trick was attempted in 2011.
