‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Makes Embarrassing ‘Streetcar Named Desire’ Fail
Guess not everyone is a fan of Tennessee Williams.
On Wednesday's episode of Wheel of Fortune, a contestant named Kevin only needed the "M" to fill out the puzzle "A Streetcar Named Desire." The problem is he had no clue, so he asked for a "K," which would have made the puzzle "A Streetcar Naked Desire," which, even if you aren't familiar with the Pulitzer Prize-winning play or the Academy Award-winning Marlon Brando movie, still sounds ridiculous.
It's been some time since we've had a ding-dong Wheel of Fortune contestant. Naturally, the twittersphere was ready to pounce after Kevin's unfortunate screw-up.
We recommend he take some time off from the internet. You know, maybe go read some classic pieces of American literature to avoid any type of further embarrassment. It's just a suggestion, but the evidence points to the need for some culture.
