Album Cover Models Then and Now – U2, ‘Boy’ and ‘War’ [NOW]

Now: Peter Rowen, now 38, is a professional photographer based in Dublin. Though the cover did get him female attention when he was a young boy (he claims he'd "get phone calls from girls in America...how they got my family's number, I don't know..."), he has never intentionally used the cover to pick up women. He says, "I would have felt an idiot trying to use it as a chat-up line." He has taken photographs of U2's concerts but does not own either of the albums on which he is pictured.
