We've all received our fair share of dull engagement announcement photos from friends. (Wow, a photobooth! So original!) Well, one creative couple decided to spice up their engagement photos with some uninvited members of the walking dead.

We would all be so boned if zombies could actually do this stuff. Or, you know, if they actually existed at all. But especially if they existed AND had mad parkour skills.

It's unclear exactly what exactly Jerimiah Hartline was on last Saturday night, but it's safe to say it was pretty strong. In his altered state the 19-year-old from Tennessee decided to steal a big rig full of strawberries that had been parked in a weigh station at a Rainbow, California rest stop.

Perhaps the only thing that could rival the feline for the internet's affection is the zombie. So what if we were to tell you we have a tale about a cat and a zombie. And that it has a happy ending.

Yep, this happened. During what we can only assume was a mesmerizing episode of the 'Steve Wilkos Show,' an Emergency Alert System interrupted a Montana television station with a message claiming that "the bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living." Meaning? Yes, a zombie attack was underway.

Students of the group Philadelphia Student Union, which is a part of a larger organization called the Philadelphia Coalition Advocacy of Public Schools, recently performed a zombie-themed flashmob to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' in front of the school district's headquarters.

On the one hand, a lot of people are going to be prepared for a zombie apocalypse in case that ever happens. On the other hand, a lot of people out there are buying guns to protect themselves from zombies. According to a gun rights advocate as well as a gun store owner, people are preparing themselves for the zombie apocalypse with guns and ammo.

Think last week's ghostly elevator prank was tormenting? Think again, because it turns out that ghoulish little girl of yesterday was only the beginning. All Hallows Eve might have passed on the calendar but the undead elevator prank is always good for a scare.

The end of the year must be approaching, because the 2013 calendars are here. Oh well, at least this one has attractive ladies in swimsuits. Covered in scabs. With zombie eyes. Well, they're wearing swimsuits at any rate.

This advertisement for Scandinavian sporting goods chain XXL caused an uproar when it aired over the weekend. People complained that it was too violent and graphic, maybe because of that scene when a zombie's arm flies off with the golf club it was swinging...

It's something we've all thought a time or two every few hours of every day always. The answer is there would be a lot more whizzing lightsaber sound effects...
