Touching Supermarket Commercial Reminds You What Christmas Is All About
The Germans may not be known as the most touchy-feely people around, but they sure sling some arrows at the heartstrings in this holiday ad.
The commercial, which is supremely clever, is for a grocery store in the country called Edeka. The patriarch of a family, who's been widowed, is left alone each Christmas while his busy adult children are scattered all over the world.
The man, though, comes up with an ingenious way to get the whole family to visit (although there are probably some people who will find his method to be a little mean).
Either way, the ad hits home, which is exactly where the man wants his family to be.
