Runaway Giant Inflatable Pumpkin Wreaks Havoc on Town
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a...pumpkin?
An enormous inflatable pumpkin was blown away by the wind and rolled down the road in Peoria, Ariz. on Thursday.
The gourd is 25 feet high and weighs 350 pounds. It had been set up at a nearby Halloween display to publicize a party the town is hosting.
No one was hurt, but some street lights were damaged.
Eventually, the oversized pumpkin, which is causing trouble along the lines of the Kool-Aid Man, became stuck in a park.
Now, you probably think it'd be easy to spot a humungous orange ball cruising down the street, but the company that owns the pumpkin said it wasn't so easy. One official said, "We showed up and it wasn't there and we spent the last 40 minutes driving around looking for it."
That's pretty hard to believe, isn't it?
