Pizza is already a beloved food, but it's about to go to a whole new level of adoration.

The first Pizza ATM in North America will be unveiled next month at Xavier University in Cincinnati.

What is a Pizza ATM? Exactly what you think it is -- a machine that dispenses pizza after you put in money.

The machine, created by French company Paline, will be stocked with 70 partially-cooked 12-inch pizzas, made with vegan dough and vegan sauce, as well as a variety of toppings. Customers, in this case college students, pay $9 with a debit card. The pizza will then finish cooking, a process that takes about 10 minutes.

When the machine, which has been used in Europe, is low on pizza, employees get notified and restock it. Xavier Assistant Vice President Jude Kiah says this is simply an idea whose time has come. "We were looking for a way to solve this problem of having a late-night pizza option on campus," Kiah said. "And this meets our students where they’re at, in their residence hall."
