Paris Hilton’s ‘Louder’ Will Not Be the Summer Hit of 2012
Earlier this year Paris Hilton tried to bully her way back into the public's consciousness by releasing a song called 'Drunk Text.' It didn't quite work, and the tune was quickly pulled from YouTube after being panned by everybody with ears.
But credit the 31-year-old with being persistent, as she is back with a new single, 'Louder.' The song samples Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing,' which you probably couldn't stop karaoking back in 2006. Speaking of played out, 'Louder' is also heavily auto-tuned, although when it comes to Paris' voice that's actually a good thing.
Yes, that is Hilton doing the female parts. Although, thanks to the extremity of the AutoTune, it could really be anybody or anything singing. In what we can only imagine is a desperate cry for help, Flo Rida joins the track, which is produced by legitimate hit maker David Guetta. Probably because of the contributions of the pros we can't say that 'Louder' is pull-it-from-YouTube awful.
But we can say it's not going to make our summer playlist. Feel free to disagree in the comments section.
