Morgan Freeman Gets Philosophical in ‘Deep Thoughts’ Supercut

Morgan Freeman isn't just a fantastic actor. As this funny supercut entitled "Deep Thoughts with Morgan Freeman" shows, he might be the wisest man ever too. If there's any doubt that Freeman has all the answers, just remember that he played God in 'Bruce Almighty.' 'Nuff said.

The folks at Next Movie made this mash-up from Freeman's appearances in various movies, some memorable, some not so much. His bon mots range from laughable ("You want to see a miracle, son? Be the miracle!") to grim ("Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane...") to downright pithy ("There are no perfect men in this world, only perfect intentions.")

Still, as near as we can tell, there doesn't appear to be anything from Freeman's turn as Lucius Fox in Christopher Nolan's Batman movies. We're willing to forgive this one omission, however. As long as Freeman says anything, we'll be listening.
