Military Is at Forefront of the Caffeinated Meat Revolution
Military technology has given the public innovations such as the jet engine, the digital camera and the internet. Now, as Army scientists reinvent the MRE (Meal, Ready, Eat) ration that is given to soldiers, the military is pushing forward the concept of caffeinated meat.
The army is testing a new food that looks and tastes like a stick of beef jerky but contains the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee. We imagine this efficient kick of both protein and energy will eventually prove popular away from the battlefield, and might serverly cut into sales of Mountain Dew.
However, we also imagine this juiced up meat stick won't smell very good coming out the other end.
