Kid Band ‘Murp’ Bangs Out Intense Heavy Metal

Anyone who thinks heavy metal is strictly for adults has never heard Murp, a young brother-sister duo who bashes out intense deathcore that would make any headbanger proud.

The bands consists of Aaralyn on vocals and Izzy on drums. (They even have metal names!) Dad Jason lends lead guitar talent and random uncles sometimes drop by, but they never appear on camera.

Izzy consistently provides rock steady beats while Aaralyn screeches at the top of her lungs about things that concern a girl of her age -- knotted hair, her brother's painful case of poison ivy, unicorns and the Easter Bunny just to name a few.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the band's name came from the Feile Festival in Ireland in 1995, where a drunken man was reportedly screaming the nonsense word over and over in an inebriated haze. If that's not metal, we don't know what is.
