Is A Sweet-Toothed Ghost Haunting An Australian Supermarket?
We typically hear about ghosts haunting homes. But if you were a spirit of the night, wouldn't you want to set up shop somewhere a bit more roomy and food-filled? Say, maybe a grocery store?
Well, that may be what's happening in Australia, where surveillance cameras in an IGA supermarket have captured a very curious sight indeed. As you can see in the video below, an unseen force is picking fruit roll boxes up off of their counter at night and then throwing them across the aisle.
Could this be the work of a ghost with a sweet tooth?
According to the store's owner Norm Hurst, he was warned something like this might happened when he bought the grocery in October.
"The previous owners told me it was haunted," Hurst told Adelaide Now. "I thought, 'Yeah, whatever.' But since we've owned the place, strange things have happened."
One of the theories as to why an apparition might roam the grocery's aisle is the high profile murder of a boxer that took place right outside of the IGA in 1998.
So what do you think of the video? If it hasn't been doctored, it's certainly pretty spooky.
