What Do Hipsters Know About This Higgs Boson Thing? Next to Nothing

Last week, scientists announced the discovery of the long-sought after Higgs boson, commonly known as the "God particle." Some experts are saying this is the "biggest scientific discovery of the 21st Century" -- if the Higgs boson wasn't isolated, everything we thought we knew about the universe would've been proved false.

If you secretly have no idea what we're talking about, don't worry. You're not alone. The folks at Vice Magazine journeyed into the hipster haven of Brooklyn and asked residents their thoughts on this monumental scientific breakthrough. If the resulting video footage proves anything, it's that hipsters and thinking don't really mix.

Overall, the reaction was good-natured confusion. Although, there was one fellow who knew enough about the discovery to have written a poem about it.
