But who is he?

A Redditor called Sweetpotatobaketohot posted this video with no explanation other than, "I filmed this at a casting session a couple years ago." But what project was being cast? And did Flat Top get the part? If not, why not? The fact that Flat Top isn't an international sensation in 2012 means that somebody effed up a couple years ago.
