Alex Chadwick knows his rock 'n' roll. Using a 1958 Fender Strat, Chadwick effortlessly and chronologically rips through 100 of the most famous guitar riffs in rock history.

The exercise starts with the 1954 Chordettes hit 'Mr. Sandman' and ends with St. Vincent's 'Cruel' from 2011. This one is a must see for any music fan.

Obviously, there are going to be quibbles about what Chadwick didn't include. But, overall, that was a pretty fine list.

Some riffs, like Deep Purple's 'Smoke on The Water' and AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck,' jump out even among their almost equally epic counterparts. What are your favorite riffs? And could you identify all of the songs while listening without watching the video? If you can do that you are one true rock lover.
