George Clooney and Ryan Gosling Lead the Pack in Golden Globe Nominations
The nominations for the 69th Golden Globe Awards are in, and handsome leading men George Clooney and Ryan Gosling lead the pack.
In the coveted Best Picture category, 'The Ides of March,' which Clooney directed, will go up against Clooney vehicle 'The Descendants' as well as 'The Help,' 'Hugo,' 'Moneyball' and 'War Horse.'
Clooney also snagged himself nods in the Best Director, Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay categories.
Gosling will compete against Clooney for Best Actor for his role in 'The Ides of March' and, surprisingly, he was also nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy-Musical for 'Crazy Stupid Love.'
In the TV category, 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'American Horror Story,' 'Modern Family,' and 'New Girl' were among the nominated shows, while Alec Baldwin, Steve Busecemi and Claire Danes all scored acting noms.
