Girlfriend Proposes During Memorable Kiss Cam Bit

Well, here's a unique spin on the Kiss Cam.

During the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey game last week, a woman popped the question to her boyfriend when the Kiss Cam landed on them.

A proposal on the jumbotron is nothing new, but a woman getting on bended knee? Well, that's different. You know what, though? It's 2017. The old rules don't have to apply anymore. Good for her for taking the bull by the horns and snatching up the man of her dreams.

It's also a nice change of pace to see a Kiss Cam moment that doesn't end in disaster. Because we have all experienced cringe-worthy Kiss Cam segments where we all wind up feeling like we need to take a shower afterward.

We wish this newly-engaged couple the best. Something tells us the woman is going to call all the shots while they plan their wedding, though. That's cool because she's definitely earned that right.
