‘Deliciously Wicked’ – Cheesy Romance Novel Covers

This cover is slightly bizarre -- what do a hill, a very tall man and a girl in Victorian dress have to do with a story that begins with a chance (romantic) meeting in a chocolate factory? Not really very much. But the classic gender stereotypes have all been whipped out for this front cover, and so the scene is set for a book where old ideas of chivalry and honor are used as a backdrop for a little feminine detective work.
