What if the Cookie Monster Was Batman?

Batman and the Cookie Monster have a lot in common. Okay, not really. But thanks to Christian Bale, both the Caped Crusader and the obsessive blue Muppet do both have gravelly voices, so it may not be stretch to imagine the Cookie Monster as Batman, as we see in this video.

"I couldn't find any mob bosses," Commissioner Gordon tells the crime fighter. "Do you have cookies" is all Batman has to say about that.

As their "dialogue" continues, it becomes clear that all Cookie Monster Batman cares about is his dessert of choice. Finally, when you've had just about enough of listening to Batman demand his treats, he dives off the building yelling "Cooookie!" all the way down.

One thing is for sure: if the Cookie Monster was Batman, 'The Dark Knight Rises' would be a far less complicated movie. Not even Christopher Nolan could coax an interesting, multi-layered plot out that kind of one track mind.
