Cat Vs. Bear Smackdown Ends With Cat Victorious

Around here, we love bears. We also have a deep affection for cats. But we don't want to see them fight; cuddling would be much better. Still, as this video shows, it's nice to see cats can stand up for themselves.

To be fair, these aren't vicious grizzly bears we're seeing here. They're black bears, who will really only attack when seriously provoked. That's why this kitty's owner just kept shooting video; the cat was never in any real danger. That said, if you see a black bear in the woods, it's best to back away very slowly, and if you're going hiking, to know all the rules of bear safety.

Still, we hope this bear family found what they were looking for, far, far away from any angry kitties.
