A couple of enterprising 'Calvin and Hobbes' fans turned some of Calvin's twisted snow creations into a heartwarming tribute video (or at least as heartwarming as the image of a snowman hanging from a noose can be).

The guys behind the pop culture podcast "Down in Front" created the picturesque recreations of Calvin's twisted snowmen torture scenes as a holiday tribute to the comic strip's creator Bill Watterson.

They created it in a rather clever medium: sugar. Yep, the 3-D snowmen and a very impressive man-eating monster were sculpted and glued together using an ordinary household item.

For us, it's a perfect way to ring in the Christmas season. Nothing says "Merry Christmas" more than a reading from Waterson's "Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons".
