Burger King’s Bacon-Topped Sundae Will Clog Your Arteries for a Limited Time

In a move that will delight lovers of salty, cured meats and likely disgust everyone else, Burger King will introduce a sundae this week that's topped with bacon crumbles and strips. Yummy or gross? We can't decide. Maybe, just maybe, it's a little bit of both.

Called "The Bacon Sundae," the dessert item will appear on Burger King's menu starting on June 14 for a limited time this summer. As you might expect, this won't be a guilt-free snack, and will have 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar.

Critics say this sundae and other new items -- like sweet potato fries -- are an attempt by BK to win back customers and capitalize on other innovative fast food items like Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Taco.
