Whatever Happened to Brandon Call From ‘Step by Step’?

Then: While Brandon Call is most remembered for playing the sports-loving, school-hating oldest son J.T. Lambert in the sitcom 'Step by Step,' he had quite an impressive resume before that. The Torrance, CA native had stints on 'St. Elsewhere,' 'Santa Barbara' and 'Magnum PI,' and starred in the first season of 'Baywatch' as David Hasselhoff's son Cody, a role that was later taken over by  Jeremy Jackson.

Now: Toward the tail end of his run on 'Step by Step,' Call was the victim of a bizarre road rage incident which left him with gunshot wounds in both arms. While his injuries weren't life-threatening, perhaps they caused him to reevaluate his life because 'Step by Step' turned out to be his last acting job. Message board chatter claims he's working at his parents' San Diego-area gas station/car wash, and he sports a shaved head in one of his only post-sitcom photos.
